Mental Fortitude

As a counselor/therapist, the focus on mental health has been at the center of my everyday life. In our Black and Brown communities the many aspects of life that we face effect our mental health on a daily. We must remember that in saying Black Lives Matter, we must not only protect our bodies but also our minds. What are some things that effect your mental health daily, good or bad? How do you promote your own self-care, including your mental, physical, and emotional health?
